Digipeater report: Status unknown. MEPN: No new news. Emergency Coordinator's report: KBØQHZ reported a Red Cross exercise is scheduled for June 26th. The exercise will simulate a power outage. Field Day: Club is ready for Field Day, all vehicles have been secured and Porite site available. Tech Class (Highway Patrol): KAØI reported that the class is still going well. The class has about 18 students. Extra Class Study Group: WAØZOG reported that the class has met every week except one. Class may begin to also meet on the weekends. CW Class: The CW class continues to meet every Saturday, at 0645 (before breakfast), at Mel’s Country Café. New business Dayton Hamvention: Club members who attended the hamvention commented on their experience. MARS: Karl, WA2KBZ reported that MARS has reactivated the use of CW. 6 Meters: Bill, W4RK reported great conditions on 6 Meters. Bill also explained how sporadic E propagation works on the band. VE exams/reports: Jack, WBØB will organize a “VE study group” when time permits. Program: Karl, WA2KBZ spoke about the Moxon antenna.
