Digipeater report: Status unknown. MEPN: Jefferson City node is running fine. Some noise was reported on 6 meters of the St. Louis node. Emergency Coordinator's report: KBØQHZ reported that over 60% of ARES members had ID cards made during Field Day. Joe is still working on getting some exercises lined up. W4RK to give message handling training after August meeting. Field Day: Event went well. Set up and tear-down was very easy and took under 1 hour. Number of contacts as follows: CW 593, SSB 364, and GOTA 130. Tech Class (Highway Patrol): Class has 12 active students. 11 passed technician exams and 1 upgraded to general. Extra Class Study Group: Congratulations to MMARC newest Extras including WAØZOG, KCØUZA, KCØZLB, KDØCCP. CW Class: The CW class continues to meet every Saturday, at 0645 (before breakfast), at Mel’s Country Café. New business MS Bike Ride: Volunteers are needed to support the ride September 6-7. Easter Seals Walk/Run: Volunteers need to support event September 20th. The event starts around 7a.m. and will end around 11a.m. Church Special Event Station: The club would like to have a special event station set up to celebrate the 150th year anniversary of the Central United Church of Christ.
