Adjusted output power to around 50 watts. Tom replaced modem to resolve problems with the auto patch. Tom asked for modem donations. Digipeater report: Digipeater appears to be down. MEPN: JC node up, Centralia has some link problems to St. Louis. Possible node to be installed at the Callaway nuclear power plant. Organization setting up MEPN has changed names. Emergency Coordinator's report: Joe, KBØQHZ will assume the position of Emergency Coordinator. Joe asked ARES members for help while he updates member contact information. CW Class: The CW class continues to meet every Saturday, at 0645 (before breakfast), at Mel’s Country Café. Straight Key Night: MMARC members who participated shared their experiences. MMARC logo apparel: NØROK not available for discussion. New business 150th anniversary of the Church: The Central United Church of Christ is celebrating their 150th anniversary this year. The club would like to operate a special event station to commemorate. Titanic Museum: Karl, WA2KZ was contacted by the Nixa club. They will operate a special event station at the Titanic Museum in Branson again this year April 12th. Their club welcomed any members of MMARC to participate. Willis Corwin: Kent, K9ZTV was contacted by a man inquiring about Willis Corwin. The man is writing a book about early broadcast radio and spoke with Kent about Willis’s involvement with the WOS station in the capitol dome. Hamfests: Winterfest January 26th, and Springfield January 12th. VE exams: Two exams were given. Program: Mark Bradley with the Missouri Air Guard spoke about their HF network.
