Some noise is still present and it may be due to the cavities or cabling. Repeater still operating at low power (about 7 watts). Digipeater report: No report. MEPN: No report. Emergency Coordinator's report: Joe, KBØQHZ discussed what ARES does. Joe is rewriting the emergency response manual and collecting contact information for the local EOCs. Exercises are planned for this summer. Field Day: Porite has requested proof on insurance. The Highway Patron/ Department of Public Safety have requested the club to assume all responsibility for the DPS van while it is in the club’s possession. The club is looking into the issues further. Titanic Museum: Kent and Karl plan to attend the special event April 12th. CW Class: The CW class continues to meet every Saturday, at 0645 (before breakfast), at Mel’s Country Café. New business Tech Class: Highway Patrol will host a tech class June 2nd to July 3rd. The class will meet Monday to Thursday, 7 to 8:15 PM. Club members will be requested as VEs and may help instruct students. Library Board walk/run: VE exam that day (April 12th ) Will use a few club members. Event to start around 8am.
