The transmissions are believed to originate from Clinton, MO. The MMARC service monitor was not working K4CHS repaired it and NØSS calibrated it. Digipeater report: KCØCZI to visit site and resolve any issues, if needed. MEPN: NØTKM reported that the Jefferson City node is now on the air (MJEF, MJDF6). The intermediate node (MMJY, Centralia) may already be up or will be up very soon. Emergency Coordinator's report: Briefly discussed getting Brad, KCØSJR up to speed as the new coordinator. W4RK, KCØPET, and others will help Brad. JC Police ARES station: K9ZTV has spoken with Doug Keeney (WDØFDU) about training. Doug is not yet available to conduct the training. License Class: 22 people have signed up to take the class formed by KCØZLB at the Department of Health and Senior Services. MS Bike Ride: Club members who participated in the event shared their experiences. The event went well, however most members agreed that the route maps provided by the MS Society were of poor quality. NNØB: Steve will soon have an antenna up at his new home in New Mexico. MMARC members are hoping to begin contacting him on HF. CW Class: The CW class continues to meet every Saturday, at 0645 (before breakfast), at Mel’s Country Café. New business Frankenstein, WØO: MMARC annual special event for Halloween at Frankenstein, MO was discussed. QSL’s will be special stamped at the Frankenstein post office. Gary Zealman will be hosting the club activities at his farm house. The Warrensburg club will set up operations at the ball park. Blue Sky Mast Ad: Several MMARC members appear in photographs advertising the Blue Sky Mast on the company’s website. The photos were taken during field day 2007. New VE Coordinator: Jack, WBØS is the new club VE Coordinator. The club discussed the need fro more VEs. CQ Magazine: Martie, KCØZLB told the club about an article that appeared in CQ magazine. The article is about the Missouri earthquake exercise and featured Bill, W4RK. VE exams: Tom Shea (Tech); Marti, KCØZLB (General); Kevin Weiberg (Tech); and Shawn Gerstner (Tech).
