The weather has delayed any work to done. Digipeater report: Club discussed little to no activity on the digipeater. Richard Stump offered to check it. MEPN: No new news. Emergency Coordinators report: Richard Stump discussed a 3-day earthquake exercise. It will begin June 19th. A few local hams are needed to participate. CW Class: The CW class continues to meet every Saturday, at 0645 (before breakfast), at Mel’s Country Café. New business: Club VP resigns and is replaced: Steve, NNØB reigned as club Vice President due to a family move to New Mexico. Elections were held to replace him. Mike, WAØZOG, was elected as MMARC Vice President, to fill out Steve's remaining term. Field Day 2007: The club discussed field day. Club equipment has been organized by Tom and Kent. The club is in good shape for dinner. Kevin, KCØJDW, has donated some antennas and a small rotator to the club for VHF. The club will be evaluating a mast by the Blue Sky Mast Company (on loan from the manufacturer). NØSS has rebuilt the club dipoles. Easter Seals Walk: KØJNW reported on the walk and thanked those who helped. MOHP Tech class: Roger Strope with the Missouri Highway Patrol discussed an upcoming Tech class to be held with the Highway Patrol Academy. He asked for help with instructors and VE exams. The class is to begin June 26th. JC Police ARES station: Doug Keeney, WDØFDU, from the JC Police Department reminded the club about the ARES station located at the Police Department. The station has not been used much and needs to be used. Doug will conduct training for the station at next meeting for those interested in getting access to it. Corwin Event QST article: Kent, K9ZTV, has submitted an article about MMARC special event W9C. He received a letter from the ARRL asking to allow the article to appear on the website as the “Web Extra” article. Kent has written them a letter back asking them to reconsider the article for publication in QST. VE exams: None Program: Jack, WBØS talked about ALC Pictures (Springfield MO), a company that will print high-quality QSL cards.
