CW Class:  The CW class continues to meet every Saturday, at 0645 (before breakfast), at          Mel’s Country Café. 

Willis Porter Corwin / 9ABD special event:  K9ZTV reviewed the schedule for the special event.  He passed out copies of the press release he wrote and gave a history of Willis and the message traffic event that we will be commemorating.  The plaque will be commissioned at Capital Monument Company.

Spotter Training: NNØB reported a possible date for training to be March 6th. 

License class:  no report.

New business:

MMARC logo apparel:  Tom reported that 28 items have been ordered with a different vendor.  The new vendor has given the club better prices.  Club members voted (and approved) a motion for the club to pay for fee to digitize the MMARC logo.

Straight Key Night 2006:  K9ZTV, NNØB, W4RK, NØSS, WA2KBZ, WØESE, and others discussed their experiences with SKN.  Everyone had a lot of fun and seemed to find good as well as poor operators.  Most QSOs lasted around 30 minuets.  

   VE exams:  None
   
Program:  Bryan, KØEMT discussed pedestrian mobile operating.  He shared tips, experiences and displayed his equipment.
