2-meter Repeater report:  KAØOUV reports that when band conditions are good, the squelch tail is evident.  The repeater has exercised its power backup system during recent storms.  The backup power system currently uses 120VAC. The club discussed changing the UPS to use 12VDC.

Digipeater report:  No problems noted.
  
MEPN:  Waiting for better weather to install antenna.

Emergency Coordinators report:  Refer to “Spotter Training” below.

CW Class:  The CW class continues to meet every Saturday, at 0645 (before breakfast), at          Mel’s Country Café. 

Willis Porter Corwin / 9ABD special event:  The club members talked about the special event and Kent’s great planning of it.  NNØB proposed the club present K9ZTV with $500 to help with expenses for the event (passed).  Willis was awarded an honorary life membership to the MMARC.  The certificate will be drafted by NØSS and sent to the Corwin family members.

Spotter Training: Training to be March 6th.  The class will meet in the training room at the Jefferson City Police department.  Public service agencies have been invited to attend.

License class:  no report.

New business:

Field Day 2007:  Field day was discussed for 2007.  The club would like to use the Porite site.  WA2KBZ offered his property as a FD site.  Kent, Steve, and Tom to inspect club equipment in preparation of FD.  Kevin Wren has offered to build a 2M and 6M beam for the club.

   VE exams:  Andre Dezmelnitsyn, RW3ABM
   
Happy Birthday:  Kent, K9ZTV shared birthday cake with the club members to celebrate   his birthday.  
   
Program:  WA2KBZ shared a couple straight keys with the club.
