Some cables still need to be made. The new repeater is planned to be brought up on the air without phone patch (on a temporary basis). Digipeater report: No problems noted. MEPN: All needed equipment for Jefferson City node has been acquired. Emergency Coordinators report: KVØS discussed the MS-150 to be held this year September 9th and 10th. 3200 riders are expected and the number of sag wagons will increase to 30. A total number of 50 hams will be needed. ARES planning for the event can be found at: www.ares-mo.org/ms150/. Lifetime membership Award: Roy Lilley, KØJJS was presented with a MMARC lifetime membership award for his contributions to the club. Field Day: Field day activities were discussed. Total points earned was 3,668. Number of contacts: SSB-422, GOTA-148 (CW), CW-842, VHF-66, SAT-1 (ISS) CW Class: The CW class continues to meet every Saturday, at 0645 (before breakfast), at Mel’s Country Café. New business: Homeward Bound: Visitor Bill Stien discussed activates to commemorate the Lewis and Clark journey “Homeward Bound”. The activities are to happen September 15-16.
