2 meter Repeater Report:  Old Amp removed from heat sink and new one ready for install.

Digi-peater Report:  No problems noted.

Emergency Coordinator’s Report:  KCØCZI provided program detailing communication support mission for hurricane Katrina relief.

CW Class:  The class is every Saturday at 6:45 a.m. at Mel’s.

MEPN 6 Meter Node:  Macon node up and running, Kansas City looking for sponsor.

Education Committee:  NØKSF discussed an education committee/electronics class.

MS-150:  Event and communications went well.

New Business:

John Poepsel, WØNL, SK:  The club discussed John’s love of ham radio.  K9ZTV borrowed his first logbook from John’s family and allowed the club members to view it.  NØSS shared his experiences with John.  The club received memorial donations from some of John’s family and friends. 

MEPN antenna:  The club discussed purchasing an antenna needed for the Jefferson City Node for MEPN.  The club voted to propose the purchase to the board (NNØB, NØROK, and KCØJDW) for review/approval.

Frankenstein:  Plans for the special event were discussed.

Hamfests:    None noted.

VE exams:  KCØUZA

Program:  KCØCZI provided Power-Point presentation detailing communication support mission for hurricane Katrina relief.
