Lengthy discussion pertaining to its resolution. Digi-peater Report: No problems noted. Emergency Coordinator’s Report: None discussed. CW Class: The class is every Saturday at 6:45 a.m. at Mel’s. MEPN 6 Meter Node: Centrallia node delayed due to health issues of climber. New climber hired to start after Dayton. MS-150: Volunteers are need for 25 sag wagons. A new 40-mile course has been added this year. Training for operators will be available during a club meeting. Use of APRS discussed. New Business: Field Day, 2005: The club was presented with a field day proposal (prepared by Kent). Highlights of the proposal include: Using The N.J.C.R.A. site Use of wire antennas only (except VHF/UHF station) Stations will operate QRP from battery power Stations will be housed in tents Emphasis will be on having fun scoring of least importance The club discussed the proposal and it was generally accepted. Member news: Dave Taylor (NØMV) announced he was moving out of state. Dave is a good friend and an asset to the club. The club is excited for Dave, but he will be missed.
