Digi-peater Report: Not much new to report.

Emergency Coordinator Report: MS 150 may need to find a new starting location because of conflicts at the fair grounds. Trying to get $1,000,000 this year. Will be needing operators again as usual.

Kevin (KCØCZI) met with Melissa Friez with the Red Cross. They will supply us with their disaster plan.

Skywarn held four nets during May.

Direction Finding Report: Nothing to report.

New business:

Kevin: Can not use the 1 5/8" feed line on the tower for the Skywarn repeater. Wants the club’s permission to sell his feed line. Discussion of other options followed. KAØOUV suggested that the club has no control over what a member does with the line they have been given. The members present agreed to allow him to proceed.

Field Day: Vehicles have been confirmed. Tower trailer is in a hard to reach area of the garage, but will be moved to the front of building. Do we really need it? Will need to have club members get some training on how to set the tower up.

Corrections vehicle has mast that is off-centered and wasn’t working well. So the tower trailer will come in handy.

Traffic passing forms have been taken care of.

Rules of Field Day – Possible model plane demonstration on 10 Meters for a non-traditional mode by NYØP.

Respectfully submitted (July 10, 2001): Steven C. Klenc, KCØACQ, Secretary-Treasurer
